In OBD mode:
- Read / Write Flash only
- Read / Write Eeprom not possible (only JTAG)
- Auto Checksum
- Need to make adjustments with COO connector (check MyVEI manuals)
In DC mode:
- Read / Write Flash only
- Read / Write Eeprom not possible (only JTAG)
- Auto Checksum
- On bench without opening EMS
- On bench diagnostics with cable
In JTAG mode:
- Read / Write full Flash and Eeprom
- Need to open EMS and solder adapter
- For recovery. No checksum.
Hardware requirements:
- V8 device
- Direct Connect 2U tool with OBD2 power cable
- DC2U-EMS S7/S8 cable
- DC2U-ISP-JTAG+BDM dongle
- DC2U-JTAG8 flex adapter
